Isn’t This Your Stop?

I got on the train at Canal Street here in Nueva Jork (“New York” in Dominican/Puerto Rican). And to my surprise all the Asians didn’t get off. That’s usually the rule. If you have to stand on the train you want to be positioned by a race that will be getting off at their ethnic destination. I get it, that’s wrong to say.

But in Nueva Jork a seat on a packed train is more precious than checking out a chic whose thong is visible. If you fight me for my seat instead of standing there to catch a glimpse I don’t blame you.

I like to stand by a seated Hispanic if 74th street is next. Heading towards Brooklyn? Well don’t go by a black unless Jay St/Fulton Mall is next. White folk- unless they’re Jewish, then it’s a crap shoot.
